Project Description
Enersite developed the project for the implementation of a hazardous and special waste treatment plant for the Silvio Pettirossi International Airport, presented to the Dirección Nacional de Aeronáutica Civil (DINAC).
The plant operates 24/7, 365 days a year, with complete traceability from origin to end of process. 100% of the investment is provided by Enersite, with no initial outlay from DINAC.
Upon the 20-year contract expiry, the plant and all technology become permanent property of the institution. During the term, DINAC receives a fee of 10% of total billed, having made no initial outlay.

Treatment Technologies
Autoclave
Automated control panel (temperature, pressure, cycle). Consistent and traceable sterilization of bio-contaminated waste.
Baling Press
Compaction that reduces waste volume and the costs of transport and storage after treatment.
Pyrolytic Furnace
Controlled combustion. Converts waste into clean combustible gas. Low emissions, complies with current environmental regulations.
CATEM Standard (IPPC NIMF 15)
Thermal treatment of packaging wood. International phytosanitary compliance for air cargo material.
Commercial Model for DINAC
Zero investment for DINAC
Enersite finances the entire project. DINAC makes no initial outlay.

Shared revenues that grow with airport operations.

DGCCARN — Approved Environmental Impact
The Environmental Impact Declaration N°2053/2018 issued by the Dirección General de Control de la Calidad Ambiental y de los Recursos Naturales was favorably approved, enabling the plant installation.
